Job Information
Rockefeller University Research Assistant | Laboratory of Single-Cell Genomics and Population Dynamics in New York, New York
Organization Overview
The Laboratory of Single-cell Genomics and Population Dynamics investigates how a cell population maintains homeostasis at whole-organism scale and how it is disrupted in aging and aging-related disorders. Our primary approach is to develop state-of-the-art genomic techniques to profile and perturb cell dynamics at single-cell resolution. Our long-term goal is to leverage this knowledge to develop cell-type-specific engineering tools that enhance cell population robustness or restore cell population homeostasis in response to aging and aging-related disorders.
Overview
We are searching for highly motivated research assistant with interest in single-cell multi-omics techniques. The major duty of this position will focus on developing novel techniques to visualize cell population dynamics at single-cell resolution and dissecting its connection with internal transcriptome/epigenome state. The projects may include high-throughput single-cell profiling of mouse and human tissues from different conditions.
Responsibilities
Development and optimization of single-cell genomic platform
Lab maintenance
Maintenance of lab's animal colonies
